If you are a woman and have $1,000, you can join Impact Austin to make a significant impact on an area nonprofit. The group of women reviews grant proposals and then decides where their pool of money should be distributed.
Impact Austin usually awards grants of around $100,000. The group of women focuses on five areas—culture, health, wellness, environment and family.
