After 33 years of flourishing business, the owners of Kerbey Lane have laid some permanent roots here in town.

Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope said the 24-7 diner’s first location on 3704 Kerbey Lane was just a rental all of these years, but the owners finally opted to buy the property.
The motion came after two other Kerbey Lane locations were forced to move because negotiations with landlords fell through. Now, it seemed fitting for Kerbey Lane Café to own its own spot on the street itself.
