One person is dead after driving into oncoming traffic in South Austin Monday afternoon.
Authorities say a man driving a white Nissan Xterra north on Manchaca crossed the center line and hit a car and a pickup truck.
The man died at the scene. Emergency personnel took the drivers of the two other vehicles to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating what caused the accident. The name of the victim hasn't been released.
This is Austin's 74th traffic fatality of the year.
