APD hunting for Frost Bank robber
Austin police are looking for a man they say robbed a North Austin bank last week.
According to officers, the robbery happened 4:16 p.m. Thursday at the Frost Bank at 100 East Anderson Lane. A suspect entered the bank and displayed a note before leaving with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described to have the following characteristics, per APD:
• White male
• 5-feet, 11-inches
• 25 to 30 years of age
• Slender build
• Approximately 160 pounds
• Light brown hair with a thin beard

This is Austin’s 17th bank robbery of the year. Last year at this time there were 24 bank robberies.
