Police have issued a warning about a woman who has been robbing Elderly Manor residents.

The robber has twice targeted older women who live alone. Both incidents occurred in what's known as "Old Manor". One was Saturday evening, the other on Monday.

Police say the robber knocked on the doors of older women, and when they answered, she overpowered and robbed them.

"One of the ladies is 90-years-old, and one of them is in her 80s," Sgt. Ryan Phipps with the Manor Police Department said. "Just out of fear, let them do what they're going to do and be on their way."

Police say the robber is a black woman, in her mid 30s and about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with a thin build and short hair.

She was last seen wearing a purple running suit. Police say she may live in the area, or at least is familiar with it.

She could face robbery and aggravated robbery charges.

If you live in Manor, please be watchful, not only for yourself, but for your elderly neighbors. Call police if you see anything suspicious.
