An Austin tradition is back and brighter than ever.
After budget cuts caused the Trail of Lights to go dark last year, this year the seasonal favorite is back illuminating Zilker Park.
Before its two-year hiatus, the Trail of Lights was a holiday tradition since 1965. Corporate sponsorship from companies like H-E-B and Dell helped bring back the event.
The Trail of Lights runs through Dec. 23.
