Neighbors contacted YNN asking why law enforcement officials swarmed a house along Ranch Road 12 on Sunday morning, and why officers have been there every day since.

In an email, an investigator writes he hopes to preserve the "integrity of the investigation," offering no further information.

The Hays County Sheriff's Department will only say it's a "fire investigation."

Crime Scene investigators, as well as forensic evidence dogs were on scene Tuesday afternoon.
