More human bones have been found in a wooded area in Southeast Austin.

Police say the bones found Wednesday in the field off of East Riverside Drive appear to be from the same person as a bone found Tuesday.

Construction workers discovered the first bone while surveying the land.

"One of the things that we're focusing on right now is trying to identify who this person is,” Sgt. Scott Ehlert with the Austin Police Department said. ”That's our next step, while we're waiting for the medical examiner's results to determine the manner and cause of death."

Investigators have yet to determine the person's gender, age or race.
