Multiple fire crews from Travis and Bastrop counties responded to the house along Hog Eye Road around 3 a.m.

Fire investigators said high winds helped to drive the blaze which destroyed the home.

While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, a fire spokesperson stressed that everyone should use extreme caution when dealing with space heaters and outdoor fires.

No injuries were reported.
