It’s no secret that the Austin area is one of the fittest in the country and that reputation is drawing another big name in fitness to town.
LA Fitness is moving to town and will be renovating two large facilities left vacant when Lack’s Furniture closed. But does Austin need even more gyms?
Colin Pope, editor of the Austin Business Journal, said that experts have signed off of LA Fitness’ plan, saying that Austin can, in fact, use more gyms.
LA Fitness sets itself apart by bringing large gyms to town while other companies focus on smaller, more specialized places to work out.
