Woman killed in Monday morning wreck on Anderson Mill Road

A woman is dead after a wreck Monday morning involving at least five cars.
Investigators say the woman was driving eastbound on Anderson Mill Road when her car hit a curb and ended up in the westbound lane.
Two cars ran into the woman's Toyota, then two other vehicles ran into those two cars.
EMS transported the woman driving the Toyota, and another woman, to a nearby hospital where the driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead.
Police say the other woman had injuries not believed to be life threatening and the people in the other cars are okay.
"It's too early to determine if it is weather related, but it is raining. The roads are wet. Please drive with caution. Don't drive with any distractions in your vehicle," Austin Police Department spokesperson Vaneza Bremner said.
This was Austin's 79th traffic death for 2012.
