For the last five years, Lake Travis had been at the head of the Texas 4A football class, but with the Cavaliers up in 5A this season, it opened the door for someone else.
Cedar Park took advantage of that opportunity, and kept the championship trophy right here in Central Texas.
Quarterback Nate Grimm and the majority of that offense will be back next year, as the Timberwolves aim for back-to-back championships.
