One Austin couple is celebrating the birth of their baby girl Tuesday, the first baby delivered in 2013 within the St. David's system of hospitals.

Baby Aubree was born just four minutes after the clock struck midnight Tuesday morning at the South Austin Medical Center.

The little Longhorn fan came into the world weighing seven pounds, 11 ounces and is 20 inches long.

Her mother says she didn't plan to have a New Year's Baby, but had to have a caesarian section due to complications.

At University Medical Center Brackenridge, the first baby within the Seton family of hospitals was born at 1:11 a.m.

Baby David Jaimes weighed a health seven pounds, 14 ounces.
