Winter is here and the new year is a good time to make some gardening resolutions for 2013.
A good resolution for any gardener is a vow to conserve water. Chris Winslow with It’s About Thyme Nursery said that sticking to native plants which are adapted Central Texas’ dry weather can cut back on the use of water in your garden.
Another way to cut down on water use is to learn good watering practices. That includes learning when, where and what to water.
In the video above, hear about more resolutions which can keep your garden green in 2013.
