Last week on “Out in the Garden,” we discussed new year resolutions for gardening and in this edition, we’re continuing that discussion.

Chris Winslow with It’s About Thyme Nursery suggests that a good resolution for 2013 is to plant more trees. He suggests trees which are acclimated to the Central Texas climate and don’t need much water.

Winslow said oak trees are great choices, especially live oaks and red oaks.
