Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope said Hill Country Conservancy is a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring the Hill Country keeps its majestic charm. The group recently struck a deal with Taylor-Morrison as the home builders continue to develop in the Hill Country area.

Under the agreement, for every Taylor-Morrison home built in the Reunion Ranch community near Dripping Springs, $200 of the closing cost will go to the Hill Country Conservancy. Of that, $100 will be from the buyer, and the other $100 will be matched by Taylor-Morrison.
