Authorities are searching for a person they say shot and killed a man in North Austin Monday morning.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office has an idea who the gunman is, but they aren't releasing either his name, or the victim's name, at this time.

According to deputies, the gunman is 58-years-old. He fatally shot a 37-year-old man at a car repair shop at 1524 West Howard Lane, near Thermal Drive.

EMS transported the victim to a Round Rock hospital where he died.

Officers say the incident is isolated and they do not believe there is a threat to the public.
