It happened near Manchaca and Slaughter around 6 a.m. A couple of employees fled the store, but the robbers assaulted at least two of the workers and took them to the back of the store.

One of the men fired a handgun, but no one was shot

After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, the robbers drove away in what looked like a maroon 2000 to 2005 Mercury Sable.

Police say the man with the gun was about six-feet tall, weighing about 190 pounds. He appeared to be in his early to mid-twenties.

The other man was about five-feet, eight-inches tall and in his early twenties with a thin build.
