Police are still searching for the man who they say killed 38-year-old Christopher Carson in North Travis County Monday.

According to Lisa Block, spokesperson for the Travis Country Sherriff’s Office, Roy Rogers Soliz, 58 years old from Pflugerville, shot the 38-year-old Monday morning. Carson was transported to St. David's Round Rock Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Block said that officers were called to the shooting at a business on West Howard lane just before 9 a.m. on Monday.

Soliz is considered armed and dangerous, but because he and Carson knew each other prior to the shooting officers do not believe there is a threat to the public.

Block said that anyone who comes into contact with Soliz should stay away and dial 911.
