Students learn all about U.S History in the classroom, but one group of high school students from Austin were able to see it happen first-hand.

During inauguration weekend, the students of NYOS Charter School in Austin received a real-life history lesson visiting the more than 400,000 graves lining the grounds of the Arlington National Cemetery.

The group was also able to experience what will one day end up in a textbook—the second inauguration of President Barack Obama.

YNN’s LeAnn Wallace captured part of the students’ trip. Check it out in the video above.
