The robot has been a fixture in science fiction for generations, but as technology advances, robots have become a greater part of everyday life.

Nowhere is that more apparent than a new exhibit at the Mayborn Museum in Waco. The Robots and Us display offers visitors an interactive opportunity to see firsthand the latest and greatest in robotics.

Suzanne Sibley brought her son Jack to see the exhibit Tuesday to foster a love for science.

"He's real into robots and so I just thought it would be something he could see,” Sibley said. “It's where the future is going."

The exhibit will be at the Mayborn Museum on the Baylor campus through the end of April. Special robot-themed events will also be part of the exhibit.
