A man accused of shooting another man Thursday morning was taken into custody without incident just before noon.
According to Roger Wage with the Travis County Sheriff’s Department, 32-year-old Rolando Rodriguez shot the victim after a disagreement.
Police were called to the scene and, according to Wade, the victim told responding officers that he knew Rodriguez and that Rodriguez had fled this scene in a white Toyota Camry.
Wade said the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge. He has since been released.
Rodriguez is being held in Travis County Jail and has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second degree felony. His bond has been set at $50,000.
