KLBJ-AM reporter dies after Tuesday wreck

A reporter for a local radio station has died following a three-car wreck Tuesday morning.
Barbara McCarley, a news reporter for KLBJ-AM, was involved in a wreck on FM 2222 at Mesa Drive on Tuesday. KLBJ’s Facebook page confirmed that McCarley died as a result of the crash, and expressed heartbreak over her death.
Police believe the crash involved a head-on collision between at least two of the cars. They are still investigating.
The two other drivers suffered injuries which authorities don’t believe are life-threatening.
According to KLBJ, McCarley, a Corpus Christie native, is survived by a husband and two children.
