Colt McCoy’s major stake in a coffee and doughnut chain have him rallying in his home town. McCoy and other investors aim to expand the presence of Dunkin' Donuts in the Austin area.

Dunkin' Donuts enjoys popularity on the East Coast, but the chain has only two locations locally.
McCoy wants to to change that, with plans to open two dozen restaurants in the Austin area in the next few years. He stopped by one local franchise recently to hype the plan.
