Michael Morton himself attended the premiere of the film An Unreal Dream: The Michael Morton Story at the ZACH Theater Monday night.
Directed by Academy Award-nominated Al Reinert, the film chronicles Morton’s story, from his conviction in 1987 for a murder he did not commit, to his exoneration and fight to hold his prosecutor accountable.
Morton said the process of making the documentary was "cleansing" and said that while it was sometimes difficult, he felt better at the end.
