Every day the crowd grows larger for KGSR’s live broadcast at the W during South by Southwest.
Hundreds of people woke up early Thursday to wait in line to see live music and score some free breakfast. Nakia was the first act on stage for the show, followed by ZZ Ward and Alpha Rev.
Terri Mitchell is a music fan who secured her place in line by showing up to the hotel at 5 a.m. Despite the early wake-up call, she says it’s worth it.
“I come every year," she said. "This is what South by Southwest is all about—hear live music, great bands from all over the country, and some local ones, with 600 of your closest friends."
Friday, Third Eye Blind and Charlie Mars take the stage. The morning shows continue through Saturday. Click here for a full list of acts.
