Boy, 13, shot during robbery in Northeast Austin
Austin police are investigating a robbery and shooting in the 7000 block of Dubuque that occurred at about 5:30 a.m. Monday.
A 13-year-old boy was taken to the University Medical Center at Brackenridge with injuries.
A police spokeswoman said the boy was conscious and talking to police at the scene, though his condition is unknown. He told officers he was robbed and shot by a man dressed in black who fled the scene in a black sedan.
