Dell buyout deal nears completion
The 45-day waiting period has ended for Dell Computer's $24 billion buyout deal.
Now, the fate of the Round Rock-based computer giant will be in the hands of the highest bidder Friday.
Financial analysts are reporting the Blackstone firm will likely trump the current bid of $13.65 a share from another firm. The bid has sparked shareholders to file lawsuits in protest of what they say is low balling their investment in the company.
The lawsuits are just one of the many problems the computer maker is facing as it struggles to keep up with Apple and Lenovo.
