Composite released in Cooke case

By: News 8 Austin Staff

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is hoping information they received late last week will help them find Rachel Cooke.

Investigators are asking for your help identifying potential witnesses.

Rachel Cooke disappeared Jan. 10 while jogging near her Georgetown home.

The sheriff's office wants to talk with a man who was seen talking to a female jogger on FM 3405 the morning she disappeared.

The man was in his late teens to early 20s with slicked back hair. He was driving a late model blue Camaro or Trans Am with wide white stripes along the hood and trunk.

The Sheriff's Office also wants information on the driver of a newer model white pickup, who also stopped and talked to a female jogger while she was talking to the man in the blue Camaro.

If anyone has information, they are asked to call the Williamson County Sheriff's Office at (512) 943-1300, or call CrimeStoppers at (800) 253-STOP.
