A Travis County grand jury indicted Milton Gobert on a charge of capital murder on Thursday.

Gobert is accused of stabbing Mel Cotton to death in early October.

Her 5-year-old son was also critically injured, but survived.

Police believe Gobert killed Cotton because she helped his girlfriend move away from him and get out of the relationship.
