New Braunfels officials identify body found in river
Authorities identified a body recovered from the Guadalupe River Wednesday as that of 65-year-old Norman Walker from Iowa Park, Texas.
The man was camping at a campground near Hueco Springs in Comal County when heavy rains caused the nearby Guadalupe River to rise. Authorities say he was trapped by the rising waters.
Officials said Walker's body was found near the Gruene Bridge.
