News 8's John Salazar filed the following video report.
Photo Gallery: The parade of boats on Lake Travis started at sunrise Friday.
With dance music already in the air, hundreds of boat owners began preps for the flotilla concert.
Event organizers say 4,000 boats are expected, bringing over 30,000 people to the waters of Lake Travis off Calcasieu Point.
“This thing is growing by the minute,” Lago Vista resident Jim Mackey said from his home overlooking Lake Travis. “Huge boats and the jet skiers are out of control.”
The weather seems to be cooperating in time for the concert, which celebrates summer. Saturday morning will start off with widespread fog, but the sun will be out by the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 80s to low/middle 90s.
With less than 24 hours to go, preparations for Saturday's show were also going smoothly. The music starts at noon, and Brad Paisley takes the stage at 5 p.m. Local acts will be playing Friday.

Medical staff from St. David’s Healthcare will also be on standby for the event in case of an emergency. Paramedics will be out on the water wearing florescent orange safety vests.
"In the event that something happens, we’re prepared. We have trauma nurses from all of our hospitals," Kati Lambert with St. David’s Healthcare said.
Officials say all children under the age of 13 need to wear their life jackets at all times.
There is no land access to the event. All boats must be launched from boat ramps around the lake.
Drivers will also not have access to some streets. Homeowners in the surrounding area have security blocking entry into neighborhoods to prevent traffic congestion.
The only way to take part in AquaPalooza is to have a boat or a large flotation device, and there is still time to register online. Click here to register.
