Kanye West or Coldplay?

That’s the question on many minds Friday night. The two mega acts play the Austin City Limits Music Festival at the same time.

Who will win the match-up? Radio personality Bobby Bones hit the Great Lawn to see who people were looking forward to most.

Check out the duel in the video above during YNN’s “ACL Opening Act.” Also, hear from a C3 organizer, listen to a few Austin musicians talk about their first ACL experience and get a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on behind the stage.

YNN's Jeff Stensland reports from the front gates of the fest.

ACL begins

The 10th annual Austin City Limits Music Festival kicks into high gear at Zilker Park starting Friday.

Thousands of music lovers will pack The Great Lawn to catch artists like Coldplay and Kanye West who are both set to play Friday night.

Parking at ACL can be chaotic, but there is a garage at One Texas Center and the Long Center, both on Barton Springs Road. A shuttle will be available near those locations to take festival goers to and from the park.

Smoking is not allowed at the festival this year under the current burn ban.
