The Austin City Limits Music Festival's 10th anniversary wrapped up Sunday night with a performance by headlining band the Arcade Fire.
Throughout the weekend, crowds flocked to Zilker Park to absorb the music and the vibe that makes Austin the Live Music Capital of the World.
Larry Tabbert has been to nine of the 10 ACL festivals. He said he’s watched the festival grow each year.
"I think what's most important is how it's stayed the same over the 10 years, great music, beautiful weather, great place to be," he said.
This year’s kicked off Friday with an unexpected, and much needed, rain shower.
"The rain can't beat that. No way. Probably the highlight of the year was the rain," Tabbert said.
Saturday brought another day packed with music and was graced with another rain shower.
"This is actually been probably the most pleasant year because yesterday it rained, but it wasn't raining so much," attendee Matt Estey said.
As popular as the rain was, the diversity of the music, along with pop music legends such as Stevie Wonder, provided fans with the great time they expected.
"It's been wonderful,” festival-goer Rosie Branson Gill said. “We have our family out here. We've listened to great music, going to hear bands I never knew about."
