Austin police are asking for the public’s help in finding the people responsible for a 16-year-old’s death Thursday night.According to police, officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of Uphill Lane for reports of a large fight.
One of the people involved in the fight, 16-year-old Jorge Louis Medina Jr., was transported to Dell Children’s Hospital in a private car.
Police say Medina died as a result of his injuries early Friday morning.
Homicide detectives are currently working to identify and interview individuals involved in the fight.
