Williamson County has been one of the fastest growing counties in the country since the 1990s, and it isn’t going to stop.
Austin Business Journal Editor Colin Pope said city demographer Ryan Robinson estimates there will be about 1.4 million residents in Williamson County, bypassing the population of Travis County by the year 2040.
