Since 1977, the Frank Erwin Center has been a venue for sporting events, concerts, lectures and more.

This Thursday marks their 35th anniversary. For the occasion, they've installed a permanent photo exhibit.

The pictures chronicle past events held at the Erwin Center.

"You know, each event is special and I think we all maybe have our favorites. I tend to think about the things that are more out of the ordinary like maybe a presidential visit or the Dalai Lama," Associate Director Jimmy Earl said.
