On Friday, about 3,000 people are expected to take part in the fifth-annual Lights of Love 5K in East Austin.

The family friendly race will take place in Austin’s Mueller neighborhood and will benefit the Ronald McDonald House, which is also celebrating its fifth year in operation.

Santa Claus will be there, making this a great way to kick of the holiday season.
