Austin fans play Dishonored at gaming event held by SXSW Gaming and The Austin Chronicle in October 2012
The first-person stealth game, Dishonored, was awarded Best Action Adventure Game at last night’s Spike Video Game Awards.
Developed at Arkane Studios’ Austin location, the game has received critical praise for the variety of ways it allows players to approach objectives.
The game’s co-creative director, Raphael Colantonio, spoke with YNN in October about the positive response the game received from critics.
“We are thrilled, because when you start a game like this, you know you are going to commit three or four years of your life,” Colantonio said. “It’s a big personal investment, and you feel so relieved when you see people like your game.”
