F1 track owners sue Elroy resident over water line
Elroy resident Don Haywood is working on starting up a nursery business on his 15-acre property in southeast Travis County. However, those efforts have been stymied by Formula One track developers who have filed a lawsuit against the former police officer, claiming his water line is trespassing on track property.

City to install crosswalk light at intersection of teens’ death
The City of Austin plans to install a push-button crosswalk light at South First Street and Thelma Drive. On Dec. 27 of last year, 17-year-old Joshua Milton and 16-year-old Melodie Hewitt were attempting to cross the intersection when they were struck by a pickup truck. They both died from their injuries.
